The
Bedbeam™ Bed Support System for beds with wooden side rails is made
of high carbon steel recycled from railroad tracks, which is far more rigid and
supportive than common steel center supports beams.

Supports Tremendous Weight. Each Bedbeam™ leg supports up
to 1240 lbs each! That's more than half a ton on one leg!!

Far superior to wooden bed slats. Old fashioned wood slat systems
will NOT support today's heavyweight bedding. When weight is
applied to wood bed slats, the side rails bow outward, leading to
support failure. The Bedbeam™ Bed Support legs are made
of a high-tech reinforced composite material with interlocking ribs
that lock securely in place. -
The Bedbeam™ design allows you freedom to move your bed without
damaging or affecting the overall characteristics of the support
system. Moving any bed across the floor will put tremendous
force on center support legs. Because traditional metal bed support systems are not designed to accommodate movement, many
collapse when the bed is moved.

Bedbeam™ suspension beams come with 3 leg posts to accommodate bed heights
from 5" to 18"! (You cannot use this item for bed heights
under 5 inches.)
