The Bedbridge™ Bed Support System for beds with wooden side rails is based on an architectural truss and beam design.

Bed Frames: Bedbridge™ Bed Support System

The Bedbridge™ Bed Support System for beds with wooden side rails is based on an architectural truss and beam design.

Click for a close-up view of the Bedbridge supports.

Benefits of The Bedbridge™ Bed Support System:

  • Supports Tremendous Weight.  Each Bedbridge™ leg supports up to 1240 lbs each!  That's more than half a ton on one leg!!

  • Far superior to wooden bed slats.  Old fashioned wood slat systems will NOT support today's heavyweight bedding.  When weight is applied to wood bed slats, the side rails bow outward, leading to support failure.  Adding weight to a "truss" design like the Bedbridge™ Bed Support System actually increases rigidity, thereby improving support and stability.

  • The Bedbridge™ design allows you freedom to move your bed without damaging or affecting the overall characteristics of the support system.  Moving any bed across the floor will put tremendous force on center support legs.  Because traditional metal bed support systems are not designed to accommodate movement, many collapse when the bed is moved.

  • Available in full, queen, king, and California king sizes.

  • 3 size legs are included with each bed truss. All Bedbridge™ trusses come with 3 leg posts to accommodate bed heights from 7" to 18"! (You cannot use this item for bed heights under 7 inches.)

  • The width of the Bedbridge™ is adjustable to suit just about any bed that has wooden side rails.

  • Easy to assemble and install.  See assembly instructions.

The Bedbridge™ is the best support available for your luxury bedding.
  2. What is the difference between the Bedbridge™ and the Bedbeam™The Bedbridge™ system utilizes strength characteristics of truss designs developed by architects and engineers. Bedbridge™, like all truss designs used in construction of buildings and bridges, is unsurpassed in its weight handling ability. The Bedbridge™ is available with more options for full and queen size beds.
  3. Will I still need to use a box spring?
Yes; even with the strength of the Bedbridge™ you must use a box spring.
  4. My bed is lower than 7 nches.  Can I still use the Bedbridge™ system? No, the Bedbridge™ system is designed only to work on beds that are 6 to 18 inches tall.
