Who is TheSleepShop.com?
TheSleepShop.com is the online version of our store, The Sleep Shop, Inc.
For many years, our website was eSleepShop.com, but we always had our eye on
TheSleepShop.com. In 2007, we were approached by the owner of that website, and
we decided to buy it. So now we are TheSleepShop.com. We also revamped our entire website
to make it easier for you to shop and find the bed frames and linens that you need. Not only is our website easier to use, but we've also added new security measures that mean your information is safe with us! Learn more about the security of this website.
Our website has been a huge success, and we believe that it actually saved our business in the months following
September 11, 2001, when our local business came to a near stand still. Our online business never waned, thankfully.
We still operate two brick and mortar stores called The Sleep Shop, Inc., located in the North Carolina Foothills of the
Blue Ridge Mountains. Our company was founded in 1977. We've come a long way from those days when
mattresses were considered "appliances" and we sold wood stoves alongside mattresses.
Now, we offer the most technologically advanced mattress products by Sealy Posturepedic, including their
new True Form line, Simmons Beautyrest, Jamison Bedding, and also Comfortaire Air Bed Products. We are a true
specialty bedding shop with all sorts of memory foam mattresses, latex mattresses, and adjustable beds.
We are a family-owned and operated business. We only have 5 employees, but we all work really hard! In our
stores and on-line, our customers get very personal attention from
us. We pride ourselves on being helpful, while never being pushy! That is what people
like about us- we will never push you into buying something. Everyone who works here
is very knowledgable about sleep products, and we help you make the right decision
for you. Our goal is to educate our customers, not intimidate them.

try to talk you into ordering something you don't need or want.

Community Involvement and Memberships
The Sleep Shop, Inc. is a member of the Caldwell County
Chamber of Commerce:
We, along with Simmons mattress company, donate mattresses to Caldwell Memorial
Hospital's annual auction. Along with donating pillows and mattress covers for
local church and school fund raisers, we also sponsor ads in the
yearbooks of our three local high schools.
We are an accredited member of our local Better Business Bureau, and we are an accredited member of BBBOnline.
The Sleep Shop is going "Green"
Actually, we've been as "green" as possible for several years. We use only recycled paper in our office. We
always recycle our printer toner cartridges. We recycle paper, lots of cardboard, and aluminum cans.
We reuse cardboard boxes when we can, so if you receive an "ugly" box, that might be why! We try very hard not to be wasteful by consolidating deliveries to the same areas and by going the speed limit. (At least we
try to get our drivers to go the speed limit!)
