Your Swing Hinge package should contain the following:

2 Headboard Brackets (These have the two long oblong holes with a pin-hole in the top and the bottom.)
2 Bed Frame Brackets (These have the two round smaller holes with a pin hole in the top and the bottom.)
2 L-shaped Swing Pins
4 Bolts
4 Nuts
4 Lock Washers

Swing Hinge Assembly Instructions

Note: These instructions assume that you have already assembled the two twin bed frames. 


Step 1: Attach the Left Hinge Assembly Headboard Bracket (the bracket with the larger oblong holes) to the left side of your headboard. Attach it using the headboard hardware that came with your headboard. The Left Hinge Assembly Headboard Bracket should be attached so that the pieces with the two pin holes in the top and the bottom are extended out into the room. The pin holes in the top and bottom should be toward the left. 

Step 2: Attach the Right Hinge Assembly Headboard Bracket (the bracket with the larger oblong holes) to the right side of your headboard. Attach it using the headboard hardware that came with your headboard. The Right Hinge Assembly Headboard Bracket should be attached so that the pieces with the two pin holes in the top and the bottom are extended out into the room. The pin holes in the top and bottom should be toward the right. 

Step 3: Attach the Left Hinge Assembly Bed Frame Bracket (the bracket with the smaller round holes) to the left-side bracket of your twin bed frame. The Left Bed Frame Bracket should be attached so that the pin holes in the top and the bottom are extended toward your headboard. The pin holes in the top and bottom should be toward the left. Attach these with two of the bolts in the included hardware pack. First put your bolt through the Bed Frame Bracket, then through your bed frame. Secure with lock washer and nut. 

Step 4: Attach the Right Hinge Assembly Bed Frame Bracket (the bracket with the smaller round holes) to the right-side bracket of your twin bed frame. The Right Hinge Bed Frame Bracket should be attached so that the pin holes in the top and the bottom are extended toward your headboard. The pin holes in the top and bottom should be toward the right. Attach these with two of the bolts in the included hardware pack. First put your bolt through the Bed Frame Bracket, then through your bed frame. Secure with lock washer and nut. 

Step 5: Slide bed frames to headboard. The Bed Frame Brackets should fit inside the  Headboard Brackets. Slip the Swing Pins into the pin holes. You're done!
